A Thrill of Hope

“The thrill of Hope, A weary world rejoices”.  Have you ever stopped to really think about those words?  “A thrill of hope”.  Remember when you were a kid and you hoped you were getting a bike for Christmas?  Remember that feeling leading up to Christmas morning?  You were so excited because you had hope that a new bike would be sitting there waiting for you on Christmas morning.  That is a thrill of hope… excitement you can hardly contain!  Do you have that kind of excitement over Christ?  God sent His only son to die for us and save us from our sins so that we could live forever with Him in heaven!  He saved us from a horrible death and eternal suffering.  I can hardly fathom that kind of love and the thrill of hope for a wonderful eternity with Him!  We shouldn’t be able to contain our excitement for what He did for us!  Go out and tell the world about it!  Share that thrill of hope with everyone around you!  Show them what Christmas really is!  So they can also know that thrilling feeling of eternal hope and joy!

Merry Christmas!!

“And the Angel said unto them, “Fear not: for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”  Luke 2: 10-11

I am a child of God, a farmer's wife and mama to 4! We raise emu's on my family farm in North Carolina. I love to talk about my faith, our farm, getting away from our farm occasionally, share recipes, make crafts and watch all of my kids sports! But what I truly love is to encourage others around me to reach their dreams and live a joyful, fulfilled life in Christ and to motivate them to want to spread that same love and encouragement to others!
