What are you struggling with? Maybe its a relationship, maybe its finances, maybe its a health issue, or a child who is having issues. Whatever your struggle, do you sometimes feel like God is not there? Do you wonder why He would let you continue to struggle? Do you feel like you have been struggling to hold on so long that you are on the edge and fighting with all your might to hang on? Maybe God is waiting for you to just let go!
Holding on is you remaining in control; letting go is giving God control. Maybe all this time we have been fighting so hard to “hang on” wondering when God was going to step in and help us, all we really needed to do was “Let go”!
God tells us in His word over and over… to put our trust in Him and He will take care of us.
Matthew 6:25-27 ““Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”
Psalm 55:22 “Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.”
Isaiah 40:31 “Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding”
Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. ”
Psalm 121:1-2 “I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
I could go on and on. He tells us so many times, to let go of our own thoughts, our own plans, our own strength and just let Him have control. He will give us what we need when we need it. It may not be when we think we need it or even what we think we need. But He is holding us so there is no need for us to keep holding on too.
Just let go and let God hold on to you and carry you right where you need to be!
Have a wonderful and blessed day!
