Tomorrow, I turn 50...

Today I’ve been listening to 80’s music and dancing around the office and house. Reliving my youth, maybe. Or just enjoying the music i have always loved to dance to. Fifty? That number doesn’t sound like age to me. It sounds like how many minutes until class is over. In my mind, all this time hasn’t passed. I’m still a teenager. Although my body says otherwise. Seriously, though. I have been reflecting on 50 years of life and what I’ve done in that time. I can’t complain. Its been a very active 50 years. I don’t sit still for long. I hope I stay a driven for 50 more. I’ve watched my children grow up. I’ve been to countless soccer, baseball, football and basketball games as well as cheerleading competitions. Since my youngest is only 11 and plays soccer, I still have several years left of traveling for games. I love every second of it. I enjoy my job, i love our farm. I have an awesome husband.  I give God all the glory for getting this far!  He has blessed me beyond measure. Im looking forward to the next 50 years.

I am a child of God, a farmer's wife and mama to 4! We raise emu's on my family farm in North Carolina. I love to talk about my faith, our farm, getting away from our farm occasionally, share recipes, make crafts and watch all of my kids sports! But what I truly love is to encourage others around me to reach their dreams and live a joyful, fulfilled life in Christ and to motivate them to want to spread that same love and encouragement to others!
